Sound Biscuit specializes in working with established pros as well as aspiring new artists by helping them find a direction to reach their goals with a focus on song development and helping to get the sound that is perfect for the track. Our studio is designed to get the absolute best sound from any instrument and specializes in accurately representing the sound from all acoustic instruments.
The use of Microphone Preamps from Neve, AEA, Shadow Hills, Burl and Universal Audio along with an extensive selection of Microphones by Neumann, Telefunken, Lauten Audio, AKG, Sennheiser and many more, combined with the many recording rooms, help to capture the right sound, every time.
The control room has an extensive and ever expanding list of plugins that provide a wide variety of sonic colors as well as the industry standard tools to deliver the best recording and mixes possible. The Neumann KH-420 Mains and the wide range of Near Field speakers available deliver a fatigue free, smooth and comfortable listening environment for both tracking and mixing at any level. The live room can handle a 5-piece band, medium sized choir and a 10-piece horn or string section.

What sets Sound Biscuit apart from any other studio in the East Tennessee area is the completely private location, nestled just outside of the Smoky Mountains, combined with the constant updating of its equipment and plugins.
The Pro Tools 24.3.1 system can handle 32 analog input and outputs plus another 64 channels of Dante Inputs and Outputs through the Antelope Audio Galaxy 32 Synergy Core I/O locked by the Black Lion Audio Micro Clock MKIII Master clock. Tactile control of the Pro Tools based DAW is provided by SSL utilizing their most current UF8, UF1 and UC1 DAW controllers.
